Hi there!

When I was told in my 30s that I had hormonal imbalances, bone loss, and vitamin deficiencies – all most likely due to an autoimmune disorder – I felt stressed and defeated. No one likes to hear something is wrong or abnormal. Back then, I did not have the mindset to possibly consider that my lifestyle and eating habits could be affecting these issues. As with most of us, stress from an overwhelmingly busy life took over and negatively impacted my health further. On top of feeling unwell, I felt somewhat hopeless. After countless other ailments in the span of a decade, I knew a change was imperative.

At the same time, I had become part of a community that were wise to the negative impacts of processed foods, dyes, and other unhealthy additives in foods. This was a pivotal time in my life and I am grateful for the wisdom they shared regarding food and natural remedies. I made small changes at first – what time would allow. I learned how to treat myself by eating whole foods, cutting out inflammatory foods, using natural products, removing toxins, reducing stress, and changing my lifestyle to be more proactive and less reactive. By taking a holistic approach, my health shifted.  I leaned into my desire to learn and also to help others and this passion led me to where I am today – a National Board Certified Health and Wellness coach, walking side by side with others as they explore their own health journey – and it is right where I belong – helping goodness grow and others to thrive.

Words from my heart:

  • I relish in truly connecting with a person and creating that life long bond.
  • My peaceful place is in nature, walking the beach, hiking a trail, absorbing the warmth of the sun.
  • Creating a better life for animals is important to me. I respect that every creature has a place in this world.
  • Other than a green and clean life, I thrive on the love of my family and the bond that we share.
